Redline is out on in America.

Non-Anime Geeks should watch it since most Anime fans like the lame crap with Orange Ninjas and 9 year old "high schoolers".

False alarm, here's the real best movie on blu-ray: http://www.amazon.com/Redline-Blu-ray-Takeshi-Koike/dp/B005WMQ5R8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326860873&sr=8-1

There are no silver bullets just a ton of hard work and vigilance.

Working out 3-4 times a day and tracking what you eat is about all you can do. Over or Under eating is bad.

Dailyburn.com
has the best app and food database I've come across. Livestrong was an
ok app, but it does not allow you to enter your own foods.

Fat 2 Fit Radio
is a good podcast on weight loss they spend a lot of time debunking fad
diets, snake oil type supplements, and the very notion of a diet. They
promote lifestyle change and slow, but maintained, weight loss.

The key to it all is to find your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and to eat
within a range based on your activity level. If you eat below your BMR
your body will digest muscle and lower your metabolism.

Here is good a BMR calculator.

For example I'm 6'3" and weigh 325 lbs.

My BMR is 2819 calories a day. That is how much my body would need to maintain itself at 325 lbs if I were in a COMA.

My goal weight is 250 lbs and I workout 3-4 times a week therefore I
should eat around 3646 calories a day and I will eventually weigh 250
lbs. But the trick is sticking to that calorie goal and not going too
far above or below and working out 3-4 times a week.

I could eat 3646 calories of Snickers and Twinkies and still lose my weight, but I'd
be starving most of the day and most likely feeling sick. 3646 calories
from healthy foods like Old Fashioned oatmeal, fruits & vegetables,
and lean proteins is a fuck-ton of food.

Measure yourself, weight is very subjective and fluctuates a lot. If you do weigh yourself try to do it about once a week at the same time and after you've done similar things (ie eat lunch, go to the bathroom, etc...). But you have to have a benchmark in order to keep yourself honest.

Hopefully my tweet will generate a few hits for the site, thought it might be flamers. FYI: Hardcore Science Fiction nerds read these things called books. Ringworld's omission would have most of them a heart attack. Some Anime nerds will flip their shit that none of the Gundam Space Colonies are mentioned.

To sum it up. UN Spacy, good. Robotech Defense Force, bad.

Also there is only one Robotech timeline. That includes Robotech, Clash of the Bionoids, Robotech Shadow Chronicles, and the comic books all of which are pretty much ass. The footage used from Macross, Mospeda, and Southern Cross are three separate and unrelated Japanese cartoons. Macross has a multitude of squeals that has absolutely nothing to do with Robotech in anyway.

U.N. Spacy is way cooler than the Robotech Defense Force.

Good picks. Though Weird Al in 3D is a damn near perfect tie with Dare to be Stupid in my book. I Lost on Jeopardy, the Brady Bunch, Rye or the Kaiser, Nature Trail to Hell (in 3D), and of course Eat It. In 3D also has the best Polka track of all his albums.
