Trailer Trash Heap Change Up, The Help, & More

Kyle Kriner here! Happy belated Easter, folks. Well, actually I’m finishing this on Sunday so I’m on time. But Walton isn’t gonna post it till Monday, so it’s gonna seem like I’m late.(Editor’s Note: Your Column runs on Mondays, it’s not like I arbitrarily post it a day after you submit.) Either way, if you didn’t have such a good holiday, maybe my trailers can help. And if you did have a good one, then look at it as icing on the cake. Free of charge as always. Enjoy!

The Help

Circumstance

This movie strikes me as more depressing than some sort of romance. If they’re going for the “Romeo and Juliet with lesbians vibe”, I think they will succeed.

The Last Mountain

I never thought I would say that a documentary looked epic. Well now I am. This movie looks very interesting, and makes me want to learn more about what’s going on, maybe even make a picketing sign of my own.

Terri

I thought this seemed a bit reminiscent of Reilly’s movie Cyrus with Jonah Hill, so I’m hoping there’s enough originality in this one to give itself a different identity.

Chimpanzee

Aw c’mon! Am I really supposed to be able to resist baby chimps?? This is not right. That’s not fair, Disney.

The Change Up

I think Ryan Reynolds looks like kind of a tool with that hair cut, but the ladies just can never seem to resist him. I like him and Jason Bateman togehter on screen and of course the guys who made Hangover and Old School have a special place in all of our hearts. Can’t wait for this one.

The Art of Getting By

Submarine

Another Earth

The idea of another Earth existing is something comics have embraced for decades. But I like where this movie is going. It’s mysterious, interesting, and makes me very curious. Just the fact that they can stand outside and see another Earth in the sky is awesome.

Troll Hunter

Is this Cloverfield?? Oh, it’s called Troll Hunter. For a second there, they looked like the exact same movie. Guess it’s just me.

30 Minutes Or Less

I really enjoy Aziz Ansari in Parks and Recreation, and I’m interested in seeing him on the big screen with a substantial role. Jesse Eisenberg doesn’t do anything for me either way, but I’m curious to see their chemistry together.

The High Cost Of Living

I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I feel Zach Braff has been type cast almost as bad as Erkel. He’s really gonna have to do something drastic to make this come across well.

Life In A Day

This one leaves a bit of bad taste in my mouth. July 24th was my birthday and guess who just so happened to send in footage that wasn’t good enough to get aired?…..

The Bleeding House

Brother’s Justice

This movie looks hilarious. Why not watch Dax Shepard embarass himself for an hour and a half? Well worth the price of admission.
