Jaimie Alexander, currently reprising her role as Sif for the Thor sequel, broke news last night that she had been seriously injured during filming. From her twitter account:

Today I sustained a pretty horrible injury. I’m lucky I’m not paralyzed. Thank you (with all of my heart) to those who’ve looked after me.

No further details were given, but it looks as though the actress is already on the road to recovery, as today she followed up:

Received great news today! Meds are kicking in. Awesome funny nurses here at the hospital. Physio tomorrow. All good. #HappySif#Thankful
