SDCC 2017: Talks Machina Panel Announces Critical Role Comic

Critical Role announced today at their San Diego Comic Con panel that they will be releasing a comic book that will reveal the origins of Vox Machina (you know, all the stuff that happened before they started streaming).

The comic is being written by Matt Colville, who was a writer for the video gameĀ Evolve. The special thing about the artist for this new comic, Olivia Sampson, is that she is a fan of the show, and her fanart stood out.

“We wanted to lift the community and give them the opportunities they deserve” Matt Merecer said.

The release date for the comic book is still up in the air, but “You should have something by the end of the year.” said Mercer.

Mercer also gave a little teaser abbout the next campaign saying that it will be set about 20 years after this campaign, and on a new continent.

“You mean we could go and meet ourselves!?” cried Laura Bailey, who literally could not even with the idea.

“There could be baby Trinkets! Tova, you have to come back.” she said to Noel Stevenson in the audience, who has guest starred on the show.
