Oddworld Inhabitants Announce ‘Oddworld Soulstorm’ A Remake of ‘Abe’s Exoddus’!

Just last year, Oddworld Inhabitants released Oddworld: New n Tasty! Which was a beautiful remake completely remade from the ground up in Unity.

Well, after almost a year of teasing, Oddworld Inhabitants are back to announce their next title. Revealed today as Oddworld: Soulstorm, many people are expecting this to be a remake of the sequel to the original Abe’s Odyssey titled Abe’s Exoddus. Check out  a quick blurb from the press release.

“There was a deeper, darker, and more sinister story that we never got to tell,” explains series creator, Lorne Lanning. “Soulstorm gives us the opportunity to flesh out more meat on the bones of an original spine, but re-tell the fable from a very different angle.”
