Major Anime Film Director of "Perfect Blue" Dead at 47

According to several members of the Japanese Animation industry's twitter feeds, Satoshi Kon director Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, Paprika, and Paranoia Agent has died at the age of 47. No official word as of yet. This is pretty much breaking as we speak, will comment or resubmit once new information is known.
UPDATE: (add to the older article if you can?) Also make it "Director of Perfect Blue" his name is not Perfect Blue. It's confirmed that Kon died of Pancreatic cancer on August 24 at the age of 46. The Anime News Network article includes a statements from Kon's wife, Madhouse studios, and exerts from a farewell message he posted on his official website.
