‘Friends’ Cast To Reunite On 2-Hour James Burrows Special This February!

The last time we saw our Friends, Monica and Chandler had twins, Rachel didn’t get on the plane, Ross reunited with Rachel, Phoebe was still married to Mike and Joey was still Joey.  The show ended on May 6th 2004, with 52.5 million eyes watching and saying goodbye.

In a Press Conference with the Television Critics Association on Wednesday January 13th, NBC rolled out some pretty big news.  Last year, if you were part of the 23 million viewers, you watched the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special. This year, much like the big anniversary special of SNL, they are paying tribute to James Burrows, a TV director who has spent many a year directing episodes of Television for NBC.

The special will be a two-hour tribute to TV director James Burrows, who has recently directed his 1,000th episode of television. The special will reunite the casts of Friends, Taxi, Cheers, Frasier and Will and Grace. Casts of Big Bang Theory, Mike and Molly, will also appear to pay tribute to the director.

It is being reporter that all of the Friends – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry – will all come back for the reunion.

The star-studded special is set to tape in Los Angeles later this month and will air on NBC February 21 at 9/8c.
