i had a couple of slow days at work so i tackled this bad boy marathon style.  really, really filled some of the gaps i've been having with DCU since i started in on it with Final Crisis.  Joker at the end was hilarious.  all that masa just to end Alex like that, gold.

Total Posts: 111 		I just got my new order in this morning, which is the last 3 trades of Lucifer. So far, I've loved the story. I don't believe there was a single trade where I was bored with the content, as Carey did a really great job of capturing the feel of Lucifer (as originally conceived by Gaiman).

Nice. Someone else had mentioned that it was worth looking into, so maybe I'll pick that one up. How was the art style?

I love Ultimate Spiderman. I love it.
Ultimates vol 1 and 2... fucking great  in my book.

this book was utter shit. the art was cool and everything but it was completely overshadowed by Loeb's complete inability to write a good story.
he can plot something I guess. it had a good plot but it felt like what I remember bad 90's comics were once upon a time... or just a shitty comic.
it was astounding how horrible it was.
who fucking still thinks Loeb is a good writer??
I guess his Hulk could be considered ok because it seems to be just a smackdown after smackdown of crazy crap... that could be appealing to some people.
but this is just bad. dialogue and everything.

fucking bleh.

Total Posts: 1,284 		I just finished the latest trade for "The Sword"  (Earth) its awesome.  Ive gotten used to the luna bros drawing and differentiating people is nto quite as hard as it has been in the past. This is really a must read series people.

Total Posts: 203 		Thor 610 - I'm not the biggest Thor fan around. I think he's cool, but I have not been able to get into the character. I took a swing at this issue mainly because it was a Siege prologue and it had a really cool cover of Thor vs. Thor (well, the evil robot Thor that killed Giant Man during the Civil War)

The issue wrapped up some loose ends stemming from Siege, which was cool and had a nice little battle at the end that delivered on the cover's promise of dude's taking a hammer to each other. 

Good read.
