Alright, there seems to be some interest in giving this another go so here we are. It seems the trouble in the past has been a lack of organization and leadership so I'm going to take charge of this one and do my best to keep it on track. So first things first. I need everyone who wants to participate to post here saying as much. After we get a decent sized group, I'll randomly assemble you into a list. This will be the order in which we pick the movie for that week. Anyone who joins after the start date will be added to the bottom of the list. So every week we will have a new member picking a new movie to view and discuss. You can pick any movie you want. The one rule being that it is available on DVD. It would be best if you picked something that will be relatively easy for anyone to find as well. The movie will be announced on Wednesday with a discussion thread going up the following Monday. For those interested, we can also try setting up a time for a simultaneous viewing/chat session. As you can see, I currently have this set up as a weekly thing. However, we can change that to bi-weekly if need be. So thats pretty much it. Let me know you want in and feel free to ask questions and make suggestions. Well assuming it sticks to a film a week, with no breaks - it's Lizs' pick this week (The Exorcist), then there's two other peeps after that, so you're looking at 3 weeks time. |

Might someone point me to the right direction for the discussion on Brain Candy? I just finished the movie and would like to know where the thread might be. I thought I remembered seeing a special subforum for the movie club, but I do not see it. edit- nevermind. I found the OTHER movie club thread telling me where it all is.
