in recent months, someone decided to take traditionally accordion-based Banda and Ranchero music, sub in synthesized “accordion-like” riffs, put a 4-beat over it and call it 3Ball.
it’s all one of my neighbor’s listens to now, and on hot days like today, it’s all i listen to as well.

been a big fan of The Besnard Lakes for a few years now, but I went to the Dinosaur Junior show on Wednesday and found that they were opening. these guys totally blow my mind, Having J Mascis of Dinosaur Junior play along with them was truly a major highlight for me.
