Ugh…new forums so my old account was gone…anyways. I had to show some fellow guys my latest geek project. My little guy was turned 3 last week. He is into Spider-man and Hulk big time, so I decided to geek out his room. The end result was so awesome (not to toot my own horn), but I had to share. As a complete non-artist, I painted a gigantic mural on his wall.

I basically projected a picture, traced, and filled in. It was pretty easy, and I hope some of you guys will do the same. Check out the result:

The room is about 16 feet wide by 8.5 feet tall. The kids are in the bottom right to give you an idea of size. I posted a step by step guide to show you how I did it if anyone is interested.

Awesome! When I was in high school, I had Harley Quinn painted on my wall in a similar fashion. Great work. :)

    But no lady heroes? :(

Thanks guys…the little guy is asking for Captain America. The wife is asking for a city skyline on the opposite wall. I don’t think my work is done yet. As for the ladies…I don’t know what a 3 year old boy would like. The kids love the Superhero Squad cartoon…Maybe the Scarlet Witch? They also like Firestar….hmm…

Amazing. I wish I had that on my wall.

    Lucky kid!

    Nice!

My 8 year old son has a 5 foot tall spider man on his wall and then a bunch of star wars models hanging from his ceiling.

The art of flying is to be able to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
