Anyone else see Brave yet? I sure haven’t.

Even being a huge Pixar fan, I was rather skeptical of Brave when the first teaser was revealed. Pixar never seems to be very revealing in their trailers of course, but this one had me feeling off for some reason. A later trailer came out, and it made me feel much more confident in the film, but I still had no idea what it was about. I was still going to be first in line, I was still going to love it, but what was I getting into?

I have no freaking idea. And I am cool with that. Jon’s review thankfully had no spoilers. But simply told us to throw away our worries. Hakuna Matata that shit, because it’s Pixar. It’s ambitious as hell, and some people don’t get it.

I cannot wait for Friday to come!

This is actually the first Pixar movie I’m interested in seeing. I haven’t had time to catch it yet, but I look forward to seeing it sometime this week.

Did you see it finally? Did you enjoy it?

I did! I posted what I thought in the review thread, so I’ve pasted it below. The film seems to be getting a lot of flak, but I enjoyed every second of it. And damn the princesses hair is an achievement!

    Brave.
Well, it was no Cars 2.
Jokes aside, it wasn’t long before I fell in love with this film. It’s a hard title to talk about without revealing some of Brave’s greatest elements, so I simply won’t.
See it, immediately, before spoilers fill up your news feed. It’s beautiful, charming, elegant, sad and hilarious, all at the same time. Insert more positive adjectives here, chances are that’s what I felt about this feel.
That’s about all I feel comfortable saying, as everyone who is interested in Brave should be able to see it as it was meant to be seen, as a surprisingly fresh take on the age old princess tale.
Thanks Pixar, you’ve done it again.
