‘Castle Wolfenstein’ Headed To The Silver Screen!

This could be awesome.

The game has been out forever in a million different iterations, but we’ve never seen Wolfenstein like this. Paranorma Media has just announced that Roger Avery will be bringing the iconic Wolfenstein series to the big screen!

Very little information is available on the project at this point (including which Wolfenstein title the film will be based on), but the fact that a film has been announced at all is very exciting. This is something I’ve been hoping for since the first time I played Wolfenstein 3D as a young, impressionable, immature child.

Producer Samuel Hadida stated that “With Roger at the helm, we expect everyone will join us for a wild and fun cinematic ride that will grab contemporary film audiences with the same irreverent, hip, over-the-top approach that Roger brought to Pulp Fiction and the other films he has either written or directed,”

According to THR, the 65-year old Avary has been playing Wolfenstein since its first release, so I’m sure the Pulp Fiction writer will want to do this one justice.

Here’s your storyboard right here!

Are you excited for this one? Did you play the 2009 reboot of the franchise?
