Bryan Singer Hints That Nightcrawler May Be Back For ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ by Shawn Madden

Bryan Singer has given yet another indirect answer in regard to a popular character returning for X-Men: Days Of Future Past. While speaking with The Huffington Post about Jack The Giant Slayer, Singer was asked if we could see Alan Cummings (who has expressed interest in the film) make a return to the franchise as Nightcrawler. Singer responded:

large x-men 2 blu-ray3x

“I don’t know. We’ll see. You know … we’ll see.”

When asked if he was implying something, Singer responded with:

“I don’t want to … sometimes you don’t want to say “yes” or “no” to something that may not be a “yes” or a “no,” or anything. I haven’t decided yet, a few things.”

The script for the film is still being finished up and there’s a chance that a few more characters may be added into the film. Based on his response though, this sounds like one character that Singer is definitely considering bringing back to the franchise.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past is set to hit theaters July 18, 2014.

Oh good lord don’t… Nightcrawler was delivered like crap… Bad casting choice, bad lines, bad way of displaying him. Nightcrawler was once a nice happy smiling blue devil. Marvel went haywire on him and destroyed what ever made him human.. Singer, as he always can, decided that the crappy Nightcrawler was the good choice and delivered him on screen… ish… please leave the characters alone Singer.. You destroyed Superman, now you’re back on X-Men as Warner doesn’t want near the new Superman they are about to unleash and hopefully you won’t be crapping on them this time ’round!!
